Kaaaaaaaakaaaaaaaaaa! (sound of triumph)
I got a call back from USAirways scheduling my in-person interview!!! [trying not to get too exciting, trying, trying, trying, trying, trrryyyying, FAIL!]
They will fly me out the morning of Dec. 12 (one week away) and back that night. I can't believe how fast this is all happening. I really need to start getting more stuff done in case I get the job. I should get my Christmas/new year cards out! I should buy my presents! I should actually do some work around the office!
So now I wait for my flight info.
Questions:
1) should I take a personal day or call in sick?
I kind of decimated my vacation days in Turkey recently.... yes, I am evil2) The HR rep told me to bring some reading material as there might be some down time. Should I bring something that will make me look well-adjusted and smart, or just bring what I am actually reading-- World War Z? You know I love my zombies.
3) I should take out my nose-ring right? I already can't help the fact that I have purple & platinum hair in my passport photo
4) Hair up or down?

1) Take a personal day off. 2) take a good book, to show you are well read... something that is about the world. 3) Yes, take the nose ring off. Is your passport about to expire. If so, the color of the hair wouldn't matter. When you get a renewal, get a new passport picture. 4) Up. That way it looks professional.
