• still showing up

   For the time being I am still working at the flower shop until... until my friend opens her own store!  That is something I feel pretty anxious and excited about.  It would be a really, really nice change to work at a place I care about and want to succeed.  On the other hand, opening a business.... risky.  Stay tuned. 

  This weekend at the shop was particularly annoying because it was so dirty.  I guess that is what you get when go from a mostly female staff to an all male one.  Apparently the owner just hired a designer this last week.  It turns out, he is not really a designer and actually homeless.  Great move   I couldn't even make this shit up.

   

  Usually, I just make whatever boring vase arrangement FTD has on sale that week, but someone actually ordered something unusual!  All red and orange.  I didn't have the cool foliage to put into it, so I went out back and cut some down.  Living in Florida has it's pluses.
